With over 10 years of teaching, gigging, and recording experience in Detroit's vibrant music scene, my specialties are jazz, gospel, and pop music. In pursuit of my master's degree, studies have included tuition from renowned musicians like Barry Harris, Bob Hurst, and Geri Allen. Additionally, I have had the privilege of playing and recording with esteemed artists such as Antwaun Stanley, Shana Wilson-Williams, Kara Grainger, Doug Sides, Isis Damil, J.O.Y, T.A.Y., Jax Anderson, and more. Since moving to the UK, it's been wonderful to share my unique perspective with musicians and students alike. With a dynamic and student-centered approach, I provide engaging guitar and bass lessons. Utilizing proven techniques and a tailored teaching methodology, my lessons cater to serious students of all levels and styles including jazz, pop, blues, and more. Lessons typically last 60 minutes, allowing ample time for comprehensive instruction. Most lessons are taught online, but in some circumstances students travel to my home. As a qualified instructor with a Master's of Music degree and extensive experience as a professional musician, my lessons are designed for aspiring musicians and passionate learners.
