About Sienna
With four years of experience as a guitar teacher, I bring both passion and expertise to my instruction. My journey with the guitar has been deeply rewarding, evolving from a personal hobby into a professional career dedicated to teaching. Throughout my time as an instructor, I have had the pleasure of working with students of all ages and skill levels, which has enriched my approach and understanding of effective teaching methods.
My teaching philosophy revolves around creating a personalized learning experience for each student. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an advanced player looking to refine your technique, I tailor lessons to suit your specific goals and interests. I believe in exploring a range of genres, from rock and blues to classical and jazz, to help students find their own musical voice and style.
In addition to technical skills, I emphasize the importance of performance and confidence. I encourage students to engage in various performance opportunities, such as informal recitals or recorded sessions, to build stage presence and overcome performance anxiety. Providing constructive feedback is a key part of my approach, helping students improve their delivery and expressiveness.
My ultimate goal is to inspire a love for music and support each student’s growth as a guitarist. By fostering a positive and motivating environment, I aim to help students achieve their musical aspirations and enjoy the journey of mastering the guitar.

In each guitar lesson, students receive personalized instruction designed to match their skill level and musical interests. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to hone advanced techniques, lessons are tailored to meet your specific needs. We explore a variety of genres, including rock, blues, jazz, and classical, allowing students to develop versatility and discover their own musical style.
Lessons focus on building a strong technical foundation while also fostering creativity. Students work on fundamental skills such as chord progressions, strumming patterns, and fingerpicking techniques. Alongside these, we delve into music theory concepts that enhance understanding and application of musical ideas. This balanced approach helps students become well-rounded guitarists.
Performance skills are a key component of the lessons. Students are encouraged to practice performing in different settings, whether through informal recitals or recorded sessions. This emphasis on performance helps build confidence and prepares students for real-world scenarios, such as gigs or auditions. Constructive feedback is provided to refine stage presence and musical expression.
Overall, the goal of the lessons is to inspire and support each student’s musical journey. By creating a positive and encouraging environment, I aim to help students develop their skills, achieve their goals, and gain a lasting passion for playing the guitar.
