About Waleed
Away from teaching my main interests are football and food. One of which I don’t do as often as I should, the other a bit too much. I love the opportunity to wind down and take a break from the stress of the world. I also enjoy socialising with friends and watching a good movie.

I am an approachable and experienced head of science who understands the importance of allowing each child to learn in a way that is unique to them. I understand the difficulties and pressures that schools put on children and am confident in finding ways to help children learn in their own way, building on their strengths and overcoming their weaknesses.
I am a qualified secondary science teacher who has worked with children of all abilities in Hull and Grimsby. I have a BSc in Biomedical Science and an MSc in Translational Oncology, along with a PGCE Secondary Science from the University of Manchester.
As an experienced and dedicated teacher, I aim to improve your child's academic progress by understanding them as a learner, and building upon this. I will develop their subject knowledge by planning individual programmes of study, that will ensure their progress both at home and within school. I am caring, punctual and reliable, and will ensure that your child achieves what they are capable of.
