About Mifdhal

Hi! I’m Mifdhal, a university student who genuinely enjoys helping others learn and grow. During my SPM years, I had the privilege of serving as a Head Student Tutor, where I mentored my peers by breaking down challenging English concepts, sharing effective study strategies, and helping them prepare with confidence. Seeing my friends improve and achieve better results was what inspired me to continue teaching.

Beyond academics, I’m also passionate about basketball. I’ve spent years playing the sport and love the discipline, teamwork, and determination it teaches. Basketball has shaped who I am—it has taught me to stay calm under pressure, communicate effectively, and never give up after setbacks. These are the same values I bring into every lesson. Just like on the court, I believe success comes from consistent practice, the right guidance, and confidence in your own abilities.

My teaching style is friendly, patient, and interactive. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes without fear of being judged. Rather than simply memorizing answers, I’ll help you understand the “why” behind the language so you can think critically, write confidently, and communicate effectively. Every lesson is tailored to your pace and goals, whether you’re aiming to pass, improve your grades, or achieve an A+ in SPM English.

About the lesson

I believe that every student has the potential to excel when given the right guidance and encouragement. My teaching approach is student-centered, where I adapt each lesson to suit the student’s learning pace, strengths, and areas for improvement. I focus on strengthening grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, essay writing, speaking confidence, and SPM exam techniques through interactive discussions, guided practice, and past-year questions. I also provide constructive feedback and practical tips to help students improve continuously.

Lessons are conducted online via Google Meet and typically last 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the student’s goals and learning needs. As a former Head Student Tutor, I had the opportunity to mentor and guide my peers during SPM, helping them understand difficult topics and prepare effectively for examinations. This experience has equipped me with strong communication skills and the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently.

My lessons are suitable for Form 4 and Form 5 students preparing for the SPM English examination, as well as students who want to improve their overall English proficiency, confidence in using the language, and academic performance. Whether you need help with exam preparation or building a stronger foundation in English, I am committed to creating a supportive and motivating learning environment that helps every student achieve their full potential.
