About Leah

I am a Registered Nurse with 22 years of diverse clinical experience, including hospital nursing, long-term care, and home health. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and am currently completing my Master of Science in Nursing Education. I also help run a home care agency, where I support Veterans and their families. While I’ve worked in many areas of nursing, teaching has always been my true passion. As a health science educator with in-person teaching experience, I enjoy helping students build confidence, master complex concepts, and reach their academic and professional goals. Outside of nursing and teaching, I’m married and a proud mom of four.

About the lesson

My lessons are engaging, practical, and grounded in real-world nursing experience. I’m a transparent educator, I believe students should understand what nursing truly looks like while still mastering the standards required by the Department of Education and the Board of Nursing. All required concepts will be clearly reviewed, and I break complex topics down in a way that is approachable and easy to understand.
