About Marisa

Taught high school business and Spanish for almost 20 years. Became a mentor to new teachers and a school advisor to students new to the country and their families. Helped many get ready for ACT/SAT and apply for financial aid and understand about scholarships. Getting ready for postsecondary is important.

About the lesson

I make the lesson fun and easy to understand. Teaching with visual is important. Feeling comfortable with the language is another and not being afraid to make mistakes. Learning with music is another fun way to learn. Learning the language is important but also the culture that represents the language.
