About Julius

I’m a German graduate music student teaching piano, with a background that includes studies in Germany, Denmark, and North America. I began playing music at a young age and continue to grow as a musician through my daily practice and exploration of new styles.

I teach piano across a wide range of genres, from classical to contemporary and jazz, and focus on helping students develop a versatile musical foundation. Whether you’re interested in learning classical pieces, popular music, or anything in between, I guide my students to become well-rounded musicians who are confident in their ability to play and express themselves across various styles.

While piano is my primary teaching unstrument, I also play the accordion (see the other as!) which broadens my musical understanding and influences my teaching approach.

I understand the journey of learning an instrument both as a performer and as a student, which allows me to offer versatile guidance suited to every level.

I focus on each student’s individual needs, adapting my lessons to meet your goals, whether you're a complete beginner or an advanced player. My approach is always student-centered, ensuring that lessons are engaging and aligned with what you want to achieve. Whether it’s mastering a particular piece, improving technique, or diving into music theory, I tailor each session to support your musical growth.

With some teaching experience under my belt, I’m empathetic and approachable, creating a comfortable and open learning environment where students feel confident to explore and take risks. I'm also passionate about creating a fun, supportive space where you can express yourself freely and enjoy the process of learning.
