I have had Fay as my tutor for 3 years , GCSE and A-level. I managed to achieve Grade 8 at GCSE which wouldn’t have been possible without Her. She helps me improve and develop my french skills and prepare for my A-levels exams while taking into account my special educational needs to help me achieve the best i can.

Fay was my tutor for both GCSE and A Level French and I can honestly say I could not have achieved the grades I did (9 and A*) without her incredible support. She is one of the most hard-working and knowledgeable people I have ever come across, and her dedication to teaching is just outstanding. Her lessons were always fun as well as informative, and the fact that they were tailored specifically to me meant I could be sure that there would always be the right level of difficulty for me at that time. Fay conveys information in a way that is easy to understand and makes learning seem such an enjoyable and effortless process, that I was excited to attend our lessons every week. Not only is she a wonderful teacher, Fay is also someone who is friendly and approachable with such an easy-going nature that it would be impossible not to get along with her, and feel at ease in her company - something I feel is very important in a personal tutor. I am endlessly grateful to Fay for the help she gave me, and could not recommend her more.

Fay was extremely helpful at both GCSE and A-Level. Provided high quality notes and materials every lesson while explaining everything very clearly. I couldn't recommend Fay enough as not only did she improve my grades, but also my confidence to speak French as well!

You cannot afford to miss out on this tutor. Her ability to get to know you and what your long term language goal is where Fay can assist - her patience and understanding of the pupil is second to none, her knowledge of the subject I would argue is even better.

Fay supported me throughout the entire A Level French course. She is very well organised and prepared with the course content, and provides a range of materials for every lesson. I had face to face lessons with Fay, however when I couldn’t make it she was able to teach online- this was very helpful as lessons weren’t being missed. Fay really helped boost my confidence and achieve top grades at A Level!

Fay is an excellent French tutor who supported me throughout my A-Levels as well as several years later when I wanted to dip back into French. She makes lessons fun and engaging and yet manages to cover so much content. Fay has an extensive collection of materials and books that keeps the lessons varied and covers the fundamentals in grammar, listening, reading and writing. She tailors homework to my learning needs, which allows the learning to continue outside her lessons. I have since passed the DELF B2 exam and so would strongly recommend Fay!

Faye as a tutor is great and has helped me improve my French grade from about a grade 4/5 to a grade 9. There is no way I could’ve done this without her help. All the work that I am given is very manageable to do on top of school work, and Faye is very understanding about when you have had a very busy day/ week so not been able to do the work! Ava :)

She is very thorough in her work, and only asks what can be accomplished by the student, while at the same time pushing them slightly out their comfort zone in order to further their knowledge of the French language. She will also build the students trust in themselves and in their French, from speaking to reading; to writing and listening. Overall, she is a fantastic French tutor who will improve the student’s knowledge and ability to use the French language.

Fay is an excellent tutor who not only possesses incredible subject knowledge, but cares deeply for the students she teaches. Having been taught by Fay, I can attest to her ability to be adaptive and inclusive in her teaching style.
