About Kelsey
I have been studying Latin and Ancient Greek since 2017 and have dedicated my career to studying the intricacies of these languages. During my university career, I was elected into Phi Beta Kappa, received the UC Davis Classics Department Outstanding Senior Award, the Evans-Grimm Upper Division Latin prize, the highest honors for my undergraduate thesis entitled “Ovid’s Red Pill: Classicizing Impulses in the Manosphere,” the Classics Department Citation for Outstanding Performance and was on the Dean’s List every single quarter. I have a proven track record of understanding these languages and extensive experience communicating my knowledge to others.

Hi! I graduated summa cum laude from UC Davis with a degree in Classics where I held several instructional positions, including tutoring entry level Latin and working as an undergraduate teaching assistant. These experiences allowed me to cultivate my skills in creating instructional materials and develop appropriate curricula for language learners as well as gaining confidence in delivering lessons. Upon graduation, I worked as a substitute teacher which gave me further confidence in classroom settings. Both Latin and Ancient Greek are very dear to me, and I’m so excited to share these wonderful, old languages with you!
