About Mercy
I am a qualified lawyer with a strong command of the English language and a passion for helping students become confident, skilled readers. My lessons are designed specifically for middle school and high school students who want to improve their reading comprehension, vocabulary, and critical thinking in English. As a lawyer, reading is at the core of my profession. I analyze complex texts every day—arguments, evidence, and nuanced language—and I teach students how to do the same in a clear, age-appropriate way. My approach goes beyond simply “reading the words.” I help students understand meaning, tone, structure, and intent, which are essential skills for academic success.
