About Armita
I’m an experienced private tutor with 11 years of teaching experience across Business, Economics, Psychology, and English communication. I have taught Business and Economics for 8 years, Psychology for 3 years, and ESL/English communication for 2 years.
I hold an MSc in Psychology and a Level 5 TEFL qualification, and I have a strong background in coaching, employability support, academic writing, confidence-building, and student development.
I support students with A-Level Psychology, A-Level Business, A-Level Economics, GCSE Business and Economics, study skills, essay writing, exam technique, revision planning, Business English, interview English, and interview skills.
My lessons are calm, structured, friendly, and tailored to each student’s needs. I know that many students understand the content but struggle to apply it in exam answers, structure essays, analyse case studies, evaluate effectively, or manage exam pressure. I help students break down difficult topics, build stronger answers, understand mark schemes, and feel more confident in their ability.
I know that many students feel overwhelmed by content-heavy subjects or struggle to turn their knowledge into high-mark answers. My approach is calm, patient, and practical. I break things down clearly, use real examples, and help students build both subject understanding and exam confidence.

My Psychology lessons are structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s level, goals, exam board, and confidence.
I teach Psychology at GCSE, A-Level, and undergraduate level, helping students understand key theories, studies, debates, research methods, essay structure, critical evaluation, and exam technique.
For GCSE and A-Level students, lessons can focus on understanding core topics, improving exam answers, planning stronger essays, using psychological evidence effectively, and learning how to apply knowledge to exam questions. I can support students with areas such as social influence, memory, attachment, psychopathology, biopsychology, approaches, research methods, issues and debates, and other topics depending on the exam board.
For undergraduate students, I can help with essay planning, academic writing, critical evaluation, research methods, literature reviews, dissertation structure, understanding psychological theories, and developing a more confident academic voice.
Many students know the content but struggle to structure their answers, evaluate research, understand mark schemes, or write clearly under exam pressure. In my lessons, I break difficult concepts down step by step and show students how to turn their knowledge into well-organised, thoughtful, higher-quality answers.
Lessons may include topic explanations, past-paper practice, essay planning, model answer analysis, research methods support, revision strategies, critical thinking exercises, and confidence-building.
My teaching style is calm, patient, encouraging, and practical. I aim to create a relaxed space where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building their understanding at their own pace.
