Experienced online tutor and I worked with 3rd and 4th graders from September 2024 until the program ended in June 2025. I worked with 3 students 3 days a week as well.

About Gloria D
I would always tell the students what a good job they were doing. I would sound out the difficult words with the students who were having a hard time sounding out the words as well. I had students (21 students) who read fast and had to remind them to slow down. My students just needed someone who was patient with them. I felt that I had that patience.

I did prepping for 30 minutes before my sessions started. Tutored students for 40-45 minutes and wrote progress notes afterward. I really enjoyed my job. I read with each student and made sure that I kept their interest in what they were reading.
