About Lily
I am an experienced long-distance runner who has successfully completed three full marathons, alongside numerous half marathons over the years. Running has become a major part of my lifestyle, and I consistently maintain a minimum weekly mileage of 40 kilometres to support endurance, fitness, and overall performance.
Through marathon and half marathon training, I have developed strong knowledge of pacing, endurance building, recovery, and race preparation. My training routine regularly includes long runs, interval sessions, tempo workouts, and recovery runs, helping me build both physical stamina and mental resilience.
Completing multiple endurance events has also taught me the importance of consistency, injury prevention, nutrition, hydration, and structured training plans. Maintaining a steady weekly mileage has strengthened my discipline and commitment while allowing me to continually improve my running ability across different race distances.

This lesson will focus on helping runners build the skills, fitness, and confidence needed to improve across all race distances, from 5Ks to half marathons and full marathons.
Participants will explore the key foundations of successful running training, including endurance building, pacing strategies, recovery, consistency, and injury prevention. The session will cover how different types of training — such as easy runs, interval sessions, tempo runs, and long-distance runs — contribute to overall performance and stamina development.
The lesson will also explain how to safely increase mileage, understand training intensity, and adapt running plans to suit individual goals and experience levels. In addition, runners will learn about the importance of strength training, mobility, nutrition, hydration, and sleep in supporting recovery and long-term progress.
