About Crystal

Hi! I’m Crystal, a native Mandarin and Cantonese speaker from Guangzhou, China, lived in Canton, MI. I’m a passionate language educator with a Master’s degree in International Chinese Language Teaching from the Education University of Hong Kong and a Michigan Standard Teaching Certificate in Chinese.

With over four years of teaching experience and more than 4,000 hours of online instruction, I have worked with learners of different ages, backgrounds, and proficiency levels. My experience includes teaching at Vassar College, the Middlebury Summer Chinese School, and HKU SPACE, as well as tutoring learners online.

I hold a Master’s degree in International Chinese Language Teaching, a Michigan Standard Teaching Certificate in Chinese, and a Putonghua Proficiency Certificate (Level 2-A).
