About Alfredo
I take time to get to know each student in order to understand their strengths, weaknesses, and the learning strategies that work best for them. This helps me tailor my approach so that lessons are more effective and focused on what they actually need.
I also adapt to the pace that the student is comfortable with, making sure they never feel rushed or left behind. My goal is to create a learning environment where students feel supported, understood, and able to progress confidently.

My tutoring approach focuses on breaking down problems so they understand the process, not just the final answer, and I adapt my teaching to each student’s pace. I try to work until the student communicates confidence in independently dealing with the areas they were struggling.
A typical lesson starts with identifying the problem area, reviewing base knowledge and working through examples together. As we work through examples, students are able to communicate the specific part of the problem they struggle with, so we can focus on those areas and build understanding step by step
What sets me apart is my focus on patience and clarity, helping students build real understanding, while also strengthening their confidence in problem solving. Many students already have the ability but may not realize it, so I emphasize building confidence alongside skills, because confidence is just as important as ability.
These lessons are for students in grades 7 to 12 who need help with math, including algebra, functions, statistics, and other core topics, as well as problem solving and exam preparation.
