About Ladybventures

My name is Ijeoma Chimamaka Uchechi, and I am passionate about helping students unlock their full potential through personalised learning. With a BSc in Political Science and an MSc in International Relations, as well as hands-on teaching experience in both Nigeria and the UK, I bring an international perspective and proven strategies to my tutoring. I have successfully taught Mathematics, English, and Humanities subjects to learners ranging from secondary school students to university undergraduates. My time as a Tutorful tutor in the UK and as a Mathematics tutor at Lilian Baylis School in London gave me valuable experience in adapting lessons to diverse learning needs. I teach because I believe education is the most powerful tool for growth and opportunity. My goal is to inspire confidence, simplify complex topics, and guide students towards academic success in a supportive, professional, and encouraging environment.

About the lesson

I believe that every learner has unique strengths and learning styles, so I design each lesson to be interactive, engaging, and tailored to individual needs. My approach combines clear explanations, real-life examples, and plenty of practice exercises to build both understanding and confidence. A typical lesson lasts about 60–90 minutes, depending on the student’s age and attention span. During this time, I use a mix of guided teaching, problem-solving, and feedback sessions to ensure the student is actively involved in their own progress. I hold a BSc in Political Science and an MSc in International Relations, and I have hands-on teaching experience both in Nigeria and the UK. I previously worked as a tutor on Tutorful (UK) and also taught A1 Mathematics at Lilian Baylis School in London, in addition to private tutoring in English, Government, and related subjects. My lessons are suitable for: Secondary school students preparing for WAEC, NECO, or JAMB (especially in Maths, English, and Government). University students needing support in Political Science, International Relations, or research/essay writing. Adults and professionals preparing for IELTS/TOEFL or wishing to improve academic writing and communication skills. Above all, I create a positive, encouraging environment where students feel supported, motivated, and empowered to achieve their goals.
