About Ngozi
I am a passionate mathematics tutor with a strong academic background in statistics and several years of experience teaching learners at primary, secondary, and university levels. I enjoy turning difficult mathematical ideas into clear, manageable steps that students can understand and apply confidently.
I chose to teach because I have seen how the right explanation, patience, and encouragement can completely change a student’s attitude towards mathematics. Many students are capable of doing well but may need concepts presented in a way that matches their learning style.
My aim is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and improving at their own pace. Seeing a student move from confusion or fear to confidence and better grades is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching for me.

My lessons are interactive, practical, and carefully adapted to each student’s learning needs. I begin by identifying the student’s strengths, areas of difficulty, school curriculum, and academic goals. I then explain concepts in simple, clear steps and use relatable examples to make mathematics easier to understand.
Students are encouraged to ask questions, attempt problems, and learn from mistakes without feeling judged. Rather than focusing only on memorizing formulas, I help students understand the reasoning behind each method and develop reliable problem-solving skills.
Each lesson includes guided examples, independent practice, and feedback. I also revisit difficult topics when necessary and track the student’s progress over time. My goal is to help every student become more confident, accurate, and independent in mathematics while improving their classroom performance and examination results.
