About Stefani
Hi! I’m Miss Stefi!
I’ve worked with both primary and secondary students, so I know how big that jump can feel. Going from a more relaxed and fun environment to something stricter and more academic can be a lot, and that’s usually when Maths starts to feel confusing or stressful.
I don’t think Maths should make you feel like you’re “bad” at something. It’s honestly just about finding the way that makes sense to you. I know it’s not everyone’s favourite subject (and that’s okay), but it is important, and I’ll help you understand it without making it feel overwhelming.
I won’t just give you answers — I’ll help you figure things out step by step, with support when you need it. We’ll work together to find what actually works for you, and build your confidence along the way so tests feel a lot less stressful.
Outside of teaching, I’m quite active and love things like sports, gaming, travelling, and learning new skills. I also keep improving my own Maths, so I completely understand what it feels like to be learning too.

I offer personalised Maths lessons for KS2 and KS3 students, with a strong focus on building deep understanding before moving forward. I adapt each lesson to the individual child, their pace, and their learning style. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Every student is different and deserves to be taught in a way that makes them feel happy and proud to have tried.
Some students benefit from being stretched and challenged in a relaxed way. Others need support building confidence and recognising their progress. I focus on building a positive working relationship with each student. This helps them feel more comfortable being honest about what they do and don't understand, allowing me to identify gaps at their core and address them more effectively.
My style involves guiding students to work things out for themselves through questioning and support, rather than simply giving answers. This helps them build independence and a deeper understanding. Lessons are therefore typically between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on the child's needs.
