About Marcella
I am currently a student at the University of Birmingham doing a BA in English Literature and Italian. Despite the large difference between maths and English I have always loved maths and did it for A Level and have been teaching it ever since. I usually start with a trial lesson where the student and I go through the syllabus, discussing their strengths and weaknesses, what they like and dislike about maths. We then will have a go at either a past GCSE paper or for KS3 a mixed topic test to get a feel of what areas need more work and just to get to know each other!
