About Tella

Tella Ayodeji, a native of Lagos state, was born in the vibrant 1980s. His educational journey began at Idea Primary School, followed by Spring Field College for his secondary education. With a passion for music, he pursued a diploma at Peter King College of Music and achieved a Grade Five certificate in Music Theory at MUSON School of Music. His dedication led him to further his studies, earning an N.C.E certificate in Music Education from Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education, and subsequently, a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the prestigious University of Lagos.

As a seasoned musicologist, Tella Ayodeji possesses a myriad of talents spanning Theory of Music, Piano, Guitar, Violin, Trumpet, Clarinet, Recorder, Saxophone, Trombone, Tuba, and Drums. With extensive teaching experience, both privately and within educational institutions, he has guided countless students to excel in local and international music examinations.

Not only a proficient musician and educator, but Tella Ayodeji is also a prolific author. He penned "Introduction to Music Studies" tailored for kindergarten and nursery students, as well as "Foundation of Music Studies Books 1-6." Additionally, his scholarly pursuits extend to music literature research, notably contributing to "The Effect of Psychoacoustic in African Musical Instruments."

Currently, Tella Ayodeji serves as the esteemed Music Director at Dejitar Music and Arts, where his expertise continues to enrich the lives of aspiring musicians and enthusiasts alike.
