About Ashley
I have been teaching guitar for two years now. I have taught through different music schools and privately.
I teach either through personalized private lessons, catering to each students current needs, but also focusing on a rounded teaching experience or through a graded syllabus system.
I have taught and around mostly young students with a few adult students here and there so I am able to teach all age groups.
I like to keep lessons fun and exciting- you should enjoy learning.
You also get access to weekly homework and course material.

I like to approach teaching from a personalized angle, classes are very interactive and I encourage curiosity in my students. I can teach you in both English and Afrikaans.
A typical lesson includes a mixture of dexterity exercises, scales and a song or riff, depending on your skill level. You won't just learn to play songs, you'll learn to play music.
I have multiple structures for all student levels. I teach from ages 7 and up(if you can hold a guitar, you can play). If you're more interested in learning as a hobby or a specific style, I teach that too. For example, finger style guitar.

Details
Homework exercises as well as a practice book are provided, along with practice tracks.
Classes are usually scheduled weekly at a length of 30-60 minutes per class, but more than one class a week is optional as well(if you choose shorter classes, then the rate is proportionally less). Travel fees may vary depending on distance.
Online classes are 30 minutes per lesson. If you pay monthly for a weekly lesson, the cost is R450, for a total of two hours of class.
