About Yuqing

Hello!

My name is Chloe. I am a native Chinese speaker with a Mandarin Proficiency Certificate (First Class) and over ten years of teaching experience. I graduated from the University of Auckland with a Master’s in TESOL, earning Distinction, and I served as a class representative during my studies, which gave me valuable experience in organization and communication.

My teaching style is lively and engaging, focusing on interaction and practical use of the language. I use humor and a variety of activities to create a relaxed learning environment, helping students build confidence and stay motivated. In my lessons, I also share language learning strategies I have developed through my own experience, helping students learn more effectively. Pronunciation is an important part of my teaching, and I provide targeted guidance to help students reduce their accent and speak Mandarin more naturally.

About the lesson

I offer Mandarin lessons that are tailored to each student’s level, goals, and learning style. Whether you are a beginner or already have some background in Chinese, I will help you make steady progress with a clear and personalised plan.

Each lesson is 60 to 120 minutes long, depending on the student’s age and needs.
