• Do you speak this language fluently because of your origins or because a teacher inspired you to learn?

  I speak this language because it is my native language, and I am fluent in English because a teacher inspired me to learn another language.

• Can you name a living, historical or fictional character that you think is the emblematic representative of the language's culture?

  There are many representative characters in my culture, but I will choose Rosalía or Karol G as modern representatives of the culture and powerful women who want Spanish culture to be celebrated. Apart from that, I will choose Gabriel García Márquez as one of the best writers in Spanish.

• Is there a typical word, phrase, tradition or behavior in the language that you particularly like?

  I really love the sentence, la práctica hace al maestro, which means practice makes perfect. Also, I love the people in the country because they are always welcoming and happy.

• Why does speaking this language matter to you?

  Speaking Spanish could help you to communicate with a large group of people, considering that it is the main language in 21 countries and many people use this language to communicate with other people. Apart from that, it is a Latin language, and it means that it has a romantic sound.

• What is the main difficulty in learning this language and what can help the process of learning?

  Learning a language tends to be a stressful process; however, with the right strategy and motivation, it could be easier to handle.

• Provide a valuable anecdote related to your language learning or your days at school.

  When I was learning my second language, I was always struggling with speaking activities, but one day one of my teachers created a simple game (categories), and through the game I started to participate more and speak out loud. This type of activity helped me to feel more confident when speaking, and I started to lose that fear of speaking another language in public.

• 8) What makes you a Superprof in language?

  I can create meaningful and fun activities and games to practise the language. Apart from that, as a native speaker, I can identify common mistakes that can be easily corrected and give you useful tips.
