About Cosmas
Jambo! I am Cosmas, a native Swahili speaker from Kericho, Kenya, the home of Kenyan tea.
I grew up speaking Swahili, English and Kipsigis. I love teaching my language and culture to people from other countries. I am friendly, patient, and I explain slowly until you understand.
In my community, I have been teaching youth and helping visitors learn basic Swahili for daily life. I love seeing my students speak their first Swahili sentence and smile. I want to share Kenyan culture with the world through language. Karibu sana to my class!

My lessons focus on real conversational Swahili that Kenyans actually speak on the street, not just textbook grammar. I use a simple method: 80% speaking practice and 20% notes.
We learn through daily life situations - greetings, market shopping, boda boda, safari, restaurant, and office conversation. Each lesson includes new words, short dialogues, and practice speaking with me.
Perfect for beginners, travelers, volunteers, NGO workers, and anyone married to a Kenyan. You will start speaking from the first lesson. Lessons are online via Zoom or WhatsApp Video.
