About DIVYA

Hello! I'm Divya, a patient and passionate math tutor who loves helping young children discover the joy of learning mathematics.

I have over 6 years of teaching experience working with children and helping them build strong foundations in math. As a mother of a young child, I understand the importance of patience, encouragement, and adapting to each child's unique learning style.

I hold a Master's degree in Commerce with a specialization in Accounting and Taxation, along with 4 years of professional industry experience. My academic background has strengthened my analytical and problem-solving skills, which I bring into my teaching approach.

I enjoy creating a positive and supportive learning environment where children feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing in confidence. I also have experience supporting students from different backgrounds and helping learners follow both Indian and international curricula.

I am fluent in English, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam, and I can also understand Telugu and Hindi. This helps me connect better with students from diverse backgrounds and provide additional support when needed.

My goal is to make mathematics simple, enjoyable, and meaningful for every child I teach.

About the lesson

Every child learns differently, so I personalize each class according to the child's age, learning level, pace, interests, and school requirements. My aim is to make mathematics simple, enjoyable, and easy to understand while helping children develop strong foundations and confidence.

I have experience teaching students from different backgrounds and supporting learners following various international curricula. I tailor my lessons according to the child's school curriculum, whether they follow an Indian curriculum or an international curriculum such as British, American, IB, Cambridge, or other global programs. This helps children strengthen their understanding of classroom concepts and perform better in their studies.

My online classes are interactive and child-friendly. I use colorful visuals, digital activities, worksheets, math games, and real-life examples to explain concepts clearly and keep children engaged. I focus on understanding concepts rather than memorizing answers, encouraging children to develop logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence.

A typical class begins with a short review of previous concepts, followed by introducing a new topic through simple explanations and guided practice. We then strengthen learning through examples, activities, and problem-solving exercises, ending with a quick recap and positive feedback.

I teach mathematics to children aged 4 to 10, including beginners, primary school students, children who need extra support with schoolwork, and learners who want to build stronger mathematical skills.

My goal is to create a patient, supportive, and encouraging learning environment where every child feels comfortable asking questions and enjoys learning mathematics.
