About Mark

Last Frontier Piano Studio, established in 2013, is a premier music learning establishment in Soldotna, Alaska. The studio maintains a high standard for quality music education and is a performing-based studio. They cater to students of all ages, from preschoolers to adults, ranging from beginners to individuals considering a career in classical music. The experienced teacher, with a lifelong passion for music, offers dedicated instruction in piano and music theory. Amid the current health crisis, the studio assures the safety of its students by conducting all lessons online.

About the lesson

Classical piano lessons are thoughtfully tailored to each student’s age, experience, learning style, and individual goals. Instruction focuses on developing a strong technical foundation, healthy playing habits, music reading, musicianship, and expressive performance skills.

Lessons are available in person in Soldotna or online, providing students with the flexibility to receive individualized instruction from wherever they are. Online lessons offer the same personalized approach and focused instruction, allowing students to learn from the comfort of their own home.

Whether a student is a complete beginner, returning to piano, or working toward more advanced repertoire, lessons are adapted to meet the student where they are while continuing to build meaningful musical skills. Students are encouraged to develop their own musical interests while also exploring classical repertoire, technique, theory, and musicianship that form the foundation of a well-rounded pianist.
