About Christy
"My teaching philosophy is built on the belief that all students are unique and capable of reaching their full potential when provided with a stimulating and supportive environment. I strive to create a student-centered classroom where they are empowered to become active participants in their own learning. I try my best to lead by example and embrace people's differences. I believe in the power of a safe and inclusive space, where students feel valued, respected, and are encouraged to take risks and share their ideas without fear of judgment. I believe the world has no place for judgment and if we were all the same the world would be boring. To meet diverse needs, I adapt my teaching methods and incorporate a variety of learning modalities, from small-group work to one-on-one guidance, to ensure every student can succeed. I understand that all students learn differently, and adjustments need to be made to ensure every student reaches their full potential.
