Chunyi is a very professional violinist with experience from orchestras such as NYOS, where I met her and was inspired by her mature ability of leading the orchestra. Her energetic personality is infectious and she is a massive inspiration for me and my playing. She plays with a beautiful tone and professional accuracy combined with a huge range of expression.

An outstanding musician, and a kind, supportive individual, Chun-Yi not only has the qualities and experience to make her a wonderful teacher, but also a passion for music that will make learning with her an engaging and enriching experience, and has made her a joy to work with over the years.

I’ve known Chunyi now for over 10 years and the standard she holds as a musician has always been outstanding. She is clearly a disciplined violinist and never fails to amaze me. Her technical skills are on top and it is obvious she has a lot to offer and teach. In orchestral or solo settings she arrives well prepared and I know this will transfer into her teaching.

Ive worked closely with Chunyi over the past year and have been inspired every time she picks up her instrument. Her exceptionally high standard, confidence, and charisma make her the perfect teacher for anyone wanting to start learning the violin.

Chunyi is an incredible violinst, but as equally important, she is a friendly, fantastic person and very easy to get on with. Also a good friend of mine, I have been able to work with her in numerous setttings within music and otherwise. She is a natural leader but also extremely patient and always willing to provide helpful feedback in a kind manner.

I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside Chunyi on several occasions in chamber and orchestral settings; she has so much skill and musicality, she is a truly passionate musician and incredibly concise and helpful when navigating musical problems. I cant recommend her enough as a teacher and musician!
