About Chamod
Who I am: My name is Chamod Fernando. I am a business graduate, a dedicated leader, and the founder of C-Fitness. My background is built on a foundation of diverse experiences—from managing corporate human resources and streamlining organizational processes to coaching national-level athletes on the rugby field.
I believe that training is more than just physical movement; it is a discipline. Having captained college rugby teams and guided professional athletes, I understand what it takes to perform at the highest level while maintaining a positive, focused, and resilient mindset.
Why I want to teach: I want to teach because I am passionate about seeing people bridge the gap between where they are and where they want to be. My philosophy is rooted in Kaizen—the commitment to continuous improvement. I don’t just want to tell you what to do; I want to show you how to build the habits, technical skills, and mental strength to sustain your progress long-term.

My approach to fitness coaching is structured, practical, and focused on sustainable, long-term results rather than quick fixes. I believe that every individual is different, so I customize each program based on your fitness level, goals, lifestyle, and any limitations you may have.
During my sessions, I focus on proper technique, progressive training, and building consistency. I break down each exercise step-by-step to ensure correct form, reduce injury risk, and maximize results. Alongside workouts, I guide clients on discipline, motivation, and building habits that fit into their daily routine. I also provide basic nutrition guidance and lifestyle advice to support fat loss, strength gain, and overall health.
A typical session lasts between 60 to 75 minutes. This includes a warm-up, structured workout (strength, conditioning, or endurance), and a short cooldown. I also track progress regularly and adjust the program to ensure continuous improvement.
I have a strong background in fitness and coaching as a former rugby player and trainer, and I have experience working with individuals of different fitness levels. My coaching style is supportive but results-driven—I push clients to improve while making sure they feel comfortable and confident throughout the process.
My coaching is suitable for beginners, intermediate clients, and individuals looking to lose weight, build strength, improve endurance, or simply become more active. Whether you are just starting your fitness journey or looking to take your training to the next level, I provide guidance, structure, and accountability to help you achieve your goals.
