Annalisa is a fantastic teacher, supervisor, and mentor. She was my supervisor for my summer internship at the Institute of Cancer Research, during which I truly appreciated the amount of time she dedicated to ensuring I was confident with upcoming tasks - at no point did I feel unsupported. I remember the numerous occasions we would sit and work through calculations for experiments together, where she’d often map things out on paper to make it easier for me to visualise and understand. The enthusiasm she had towards teaching me throughout the internship was really clear to see! We now still keep in touch, further showcasing her excitement for what her students achieve!!
