About Anna
I have been passionate about art since I was a child, and have taken over 5 years of art lessons from professional artists, many of their work being featured in films. I also have experience selling artwork at local markets in my hometown. As early as middle school and high school I've had peers and parents approach me to provide guidance in drawing, jumpstarting my experience within 1-on-1 art lessons. I have a strong foundation in my skills (regardless of a selected medium) am always looking for new ways to expand my potential, and keep an organized approach to guiding fellow artists.

My lesson plans are personalized, but typically start with the basics of drawing to develop a strong foundation of skills . This includes use of space, proportions, and dimensions---then moving on to shading, color, light, etc. Lessons plans of course take into account what the student is interested, including experimentation and multi-medium work. I always encourage creativity and an open mind, art doesn't have rules! I have years of experience in drawing, connect well with students, and look forward to sharing my knowledge with young artists!
These lessons are primarily for beginner and intermediate levels. My specialties are graphite sketching, color pencil, and oil pastels. I have painting experience, but approach it as a leisurely activity.
