About Ciara
I’m a public speaking and elocution tutor with a long-standing passion for clear, confident communication. I’ve competed in and won public speaking competitions, founded a regional debate programme now partnered with Rotary, and spent over five years supporting learners in developing their voice, presence and persuasive ability.
I’m currently completing a Master’s in Law, which has strengthened my skills in argumentation, structured thinking and effective advocacy — all of which shape the way I teach. I enjoy helping students find their voice, express themselves with clarity and feel genuinely confident speaking in academic, professional or everyday settings.
Outside of tutoring, I love travelling, discovering new places and meeting people from different cultures. Those experiences inspire me to create a welcoming, encouraging environment where learners feel comfortable, supported and able to grow.

I take a structured yet supportive approach to public speaking and elocution, focusing on clear articulation, confident delivery and practical communication skills. Lessons usually last 60 minutes and include vocal warm‑ups, speech exercises, presentation practice and personalised feedback.
I have over five years of experience working with learners of different ages and abilities, including students who benefit from confidence‑building and step‑by‑step guidance. My background in teaching, language learning and performance support allows me to tailor each session to the learner’s goals, whether improving clarity, reducing speech anxiety or preparing for presentations and interviews.
These lessons are suitable for children, teens and adults at any level, from beginners developing basic clarity to advanced learners refining professional communication
