About Veronica
Hi, I’m Veronica. I’m a qualified teacher with a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and a PGCE in Social Sciences, with extensive experience teaching Psychology to A-Level students.
Throughout my career I have worked across secondary and post-16 education as a Psychology teacher and lecturer, as well as in SEN support and educational leadership roles.
I love Psychology and particularly enjoy helping students have those moments when a difficult concept suddenly makes sense. I believe that great teaching is about much more than simply knowing the subject — it is about understanding the individual learner, building their confidence and finding the explanation or approach that works for them.
I’m approachable, patient and encouraging, and I want my students to feel completely comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Whether a student is aiming for an A*, struggling to achieve the grade they need, or has simply lost confidence in the subject, I will meet them where they are and help them progress.
After many years working in education, I’m excited to bring my experience to one-to-one online tuition and to have the opportunity to focus entirely on helping each individual student succeed.

My lessons are friendly, supportive and tailored to each individual student. I aim to make Psychology engaging and accessible, breaking down complex theories and research into clear, manageable explanations.
We can focus on whatever you need most — understanding difficult topics, improving essay writing, practising exam questions, mastering research methods or developing effective revision strategies.
As an experienced Psychology teacher, I understand what exam questions are asking and can help students develop the knowledge, structure and exam technique needed to maximise their marks.
I also recognise that confidence can have a huge impact on learning. My approach is patient and encouraging, with no judgement if you are struggling or need something explaining differently. We will work at a pace that suits you, identify your strengths and build on them.
Whether you’re aiming for a top grade, trying to move up a grade boundary, or simply want Psychology to finally make sense, I’ll help you work towards your individual goals.
