About Am
I'm an experienced, qualified primary teacher, qualified SENDCo and former senior leader with a Master's degree in Inclusive Education. Over the past 15 years, I've had the privilege of teaching and supporting hundreds of children across the Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, helping them develop the knowledge, confidence and skills to achieve their individual goals.
I'm a lifelong learner with a naturally curious mind. Whether I'm reading, attending book clubs, exploring new ideas or continuing my own professional development, I believe learning should never stop. I love sharing that curiosity with children, creating engaging lessons that encourage them to ask questions, solve problems, think deeply and discover the joy of learning.
I believe every child deserves to feel successful. Whether supporting a child to master early phonics, build confidence in English or mathematics, prepare for SATs or the 11+, or overcome barriers to learning, my aim is always the same: to help children develop the knowledge, confidence and resilience they need to achieve their goals.
Children learn best when they feel safe, understood and valued. My evidence-informed approach combines high expectations with warmth, encouragement and personalised teaching, ensuring every child leaves each lesson feeling more confident, more capable and excited about their next step in learning.

Every child learns differently. Whether your child is beginning their learning journey in the Early Years, developing key skills in Key Stage 1, preparing for SATs or the 11+, closing gaps in learning, or looking to deepen their understanding, every lesson is carefully tailored to their individual strengths, needs and aspirations.
Drawing on my experience as an experienced, qualified teacher, qualified SENDCo and senior leader, I create engaging, evidence-informed lessons that combine high expectations with personalised support. I know children learn best when they feel safe, understood and confident, so wellbeing sits alongside academic progress in every session. Through adaptive teaching, practical resources and clear explanations, children develop secure knowledge, deeper understanding and the confidence to become independent, resilient learners.
Lessons are personalised to each child and may include:
- Early Years – Play-based learning that develops communication, language, early literacy, early mathematics and school readiness.
- Key Stage 1 – Systematic phonics, early reading, writing and mathematical understanding, providing strong foundations for future learning.
- Key Stage 2 – Developing fluency, reasoning, problem-solving and greater depth across English and mathematics.
- 11+ Preparation – Building the knowledge, vocabulary, exam techniques and confidence needed to approach selective entrance examinations successfully.
- SATs Preparation – Strengthening understanding, addressing misconceptions and helping children achieve their personal best with confidence.
- SEND Support – Inclusive, personalised teaching that celebrates individual strengths, removes barriers to learning and enables every child to flourish.
Above all, I want children to enjoy learning. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a child master a new concept, grow in confidence and achieve a goal they once thought was out of reach. My aim is not only to help pupils achieve academic success, but to equip them with the knowledge, skills and resilience that will support them throughout their education and beyond.
