About Emily
Hi!
My name is Emily and I am a qualified teacher with over 10 years experience in primary education. As an Assistant Head with leadership experience in EYFS and KS1, I have a high level of knowledge and expertise in supporting your child to become a confident reader. I am passionate about the teaching of phonics and one of my greatest achievements during my teaching career is being awarded as a Specialist Leader of Education in Phonics.
As a parent myself, I understand children need the confidence to succeed, therefore it is my duty to champion your child in order for them to reach their full potential.

'Once children learn to read, they can read to learn… and they then have access to a world of possibilities…'
Aimed at children from 4-8 years old, who need support recognising their initial sounds and blending them together to read words. My sessions will support your child's literacy development and give them the tools to become effective readers and writers.
Alongside my experience as a phonics specialists, I have been trained in leading and delivering Read Write Inc phonics.
