About Tali
I have a university degree in English and Secondary Education, as well as additional qualifications in Elementary Education and Special Education. I would also like to mention that I taught in classroom settings as well as individually. I also have a great deal of experience with students who have learning disabilities and/or ADHD. As well, I use a very methodical approach to reading instruction while making my lessons fun and engaging. I am very patient and work very well with young learners.

I am an experienced, qualified tutor with a BA in English and Secondary Education, and additional qualifications in Elementary Education and Special Education. I decided to specialize in reading instruction as I derive a great deal of satisfaction from helping struggling readers as well as strong readers who require enrichment. I know that strong reading skills are the foundation of success in all academic subjects and in just about any profession. In the near future, I plan on commencing my studies for a Master's degree in reading instruction as I would love to learn even more about how young learners acquire strong reading skills. I use a very methodical approach to reading instruction while making my lessons fun and engaging so that reading does not have to be hard and boring. I am very patient and I know that young learners enjoy working with me. Please note that although my rate is definitely not the lowest, it is actually a very fair rate these days. I can almost guarantee that with a great deal of hard work and patience your child will make progress in reading. While my first session is not free, I do offer a free 15-minute consultation on Zoom so that we can discuss your child's unique needs and make sure that we are a good fit before we begin working together.
