About Orion
I’m a dedicated and approachable tutor with a strong background in mathematics, science, and chemistry. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy gaming, painting, drawing, photography, building furniture, and hiking. I’m naturally curious and creative, and I bring that same enthusiasm and patience into my teaching.
I enjoy connecting with students, making learning approachable, and helping others feel confident in subjects that may initially seem challenging. My goal is to create a comfortable, positive learning environment where students feel supported and motivated to succeed.

My Approach to Tutoring -
As an experienced Registered Nurse, I use a personalized, patient, and engaging approach to tutoring. My goal is to help students truly understand concepts—not simply memorize them—while building confidence and strong study skills.
Teaching Methods -
I break complex topics into manageable steps and use clear explanations, real-world examples, guided practice, and targeted questions to reinforce understanding. I adapt each lesson to the student's learning style, academic level, and individual goals.
Typical Lesson -
Lessons begin with a brief review and identification of areas that need improvement. We then focus on new concepts, work through examples together, and complete practice problems. Each session ends with a review of key takeaways and recommendations for continued practice.
What Sets Me Apart -
My Registered Nurse background allows me to connect mathematics, science, chemistry, anatomy, and physiology to real-world healthcare applications. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. I focus on helping students develop understanding, critical thinking, and confidence.
Who I Tutor -
