About Robert
I have been tutoring and teaching for some time and my pupils have enjoyed my lessons and achieved their goals. I have a degree in languages from Manchester University and have successfully taught and led Modern Language Departments in schools in the UK and abroad for a number of years. I have successfully taught very able IB and A level pupils as well as some struggling at GCSE.

I believe in some fun and learning with games as a means to motivate but I also see rigour and repetition to be very important. It is vital to move things from the short term memory into the long term memory using the principle of three. Satisfaction comes from achievement and retaining what has been learnt. I am patient and empathetic but also push pupils.
