About Dominic

With 11 years of experience teaching Spanish, I have helped around 150 High School and College students improve their language abilities through personalized instruction and consistent support. My teaching philosophy is based on creating lessons that are simple, practical, and engaging so every student feels confident while learning.

I focus on developing all language skills, including grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening, pronunciation, and conversation. I use interactive exercises, discussions, games, and real-life examples to make every lesson interesting. I encourage students to participate actively because regular practice is the key to mastering any language.

Throughout my teaching journey, I have seen many students improve their academic performance and become more comfortable communicating in Spanish. Their success has been one of my most meaningful achievements. I believe that every student learns differently, so I patiently adapt my methods to suit individual needs.

My goal is to create a supportive classroom where students feel motivated to learn, ask questions, and challenge themselves. I am committed to helping students build strong language skills that will support them in school, higher education, travel, and future professional opportunities.

About the lesson

My teaching style is built on creativity, critical thinking, mentoring, and accountability because I believe these values create confident and successful Spanish learners. I focus on making lessons enjoyable, interactive, and connected to real-life communication so students can use Spanish naturally.

I carefully plan lessons based on each student's learning goals and abilities. Through conversations, role plays, storytelling, videos, reading activities, games, and writing practice, students improve every language skill while staying motivated throughout the learning process.

Critical thinking is developed by encouraging students to understand grammar logically, recognize language patterns, and apply vocabulary creatively. Students are encouraged to express their own ideas, solve language challenges, and become independent learners.

As a mentor, I support students with patience, motivation, and encouragement. I create a friendly classroom atmosphere where learners feel confident asking questions and learning from mistakes without hesitation.

Accountability is included through structured lesson planning, regular progress reviews, meaningful practice activities, and personalized feedback. Students clearly understand their progress and continue improving with confidence.

In addition to Spanish, I teach grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary development, conversation skills, reading comprehension, writing, listening practice, beginner Spanish, DELE preparation, travel Spanish, and Hispanic culture. Authentic materials help students experience natural Spanish while improving communication skills.

My objective is to guide students toward fluency through practical learning, continuous encouragement, and consistent practice.
