About Lok
Hi, I’m a Psychology graduate and Special Needs Educator with 3 years of experience working with children with different learning needs. I am currently pursuing a Master of Counseling.
I’m passionate about supporting children in their learning journey and creating a positive, patient and encouraging learning experience. I believe every child has their own strengths and potential, and I aim to help them grow with confidence.

I provide individualised 1-to-1 lessons based on each child’s current literacy skills, learning needs and pace.
My lessons use structured, multisensory and phonics-based approaches, with activities such as sound-letter practice, blending, segmenting, word building, reading and spelling. I also use visual and hands-on materials to make learning more engaging.
Each lesson is typically 60 minutes, with a balance of review, new skills, guided practice and reinforcement.
My lessons are suitable for children aged 5–12 who need support with dyslexia, reading, spelling and literacy skills in English and Chinese.
