About Max
I'm a qualified primary teacher, children's life coach and founder of Life Education Ltd - an education system that prepares young people with the emotional and mindset skills necessary for navigating life.
After graduating from Plymouth University with a Bachelor of Education (BEd) in Primary Education and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), I spent over 10 years teaching in Key Stage 2 before specialising in children's emotional development.
Today, I work with children and teenagers 1:1, in groups, and within school to build self-confidence, emotional resilience, motivation and emotional regulation through practical, engaging coaching sessions. I have extensive experience supporting young people with SEND and SEMH needs, tailoring my approach to each child's unique strengths and challenges.
I am passionate about creating an education that puts young people’s happiness, mental-resilience and self-confidence first. One that prioritises the building blocks for success in any area of life.

My sessions are interactive, discussion-based and practical. I use engaging activities, real-life scenarios and mindset challenges to help children and teenagers understand themselves better and develop skills they can apply in everyday life.
With over 12 years' experience as a teacher, coach and mentor, including extensive experience supporting young people with SEND and SEMH needs, I combine educational expertise with practical coaching techniques that help children create lasting change.
My aim is that every child leaves each session with practical strategies they can immediately use in their daily life, helping them feel more confident, resilient and equipped to thrive both in and out of school.
