I participated in two of Petra’s courses and I wholeheartedly recommend her. The lessons were varied, instructive, and fun. Thanks to Petra’s clear explanations, patience, and enthusiasm, I gained the confidence to speak German freely.

I have been taking German lessons with Petra already for a while and I can say her approach and teaching methods do really work. She adjusts her lessons to fit your current needs and there is always plenty of room to practice speaking, something missing in most regular courses. Her lessons offer an excellent combination of grammar and vocabulary through current affairs.

I had my first German language course with Petra and it was such a great experience. She is a skilled and patient teacher. She also is very friendly. I have learned a great deal from Petra and I'm happy to say that I am now in a second course with her and very excited to have her as a teach again. I definitely recommend her without reservation.

So far I have followed two courses (2 x 10 lessons) with Petra. She is a highly inspiring teacher! My experience with Petra has stimulated me to continue with German classes as well as to read German books and newspapers, watch German films and series, and visit the country. Ik heb een B1.1 cursus gevolgd bij Petra aan het Goethe instituut Amsterdam. Haar lessen waren altijd goed voorbereid en zeer afwisselend. Huiswerk keek ze altijd snel na en zond het retour, voorzien van correcties en opbouwende kritiek. Ik voelde mij bij haar op mijn gemak, zodat ik durfde te spreken in de les. Een goede docent die ik zeker zou aanbevelen.

I have been a student of Petra for over 2 years. We sterted in a class and continued with 4 students and Petra. We started live and met on line due to Covid.
Petra is a native German speaker and has many, many years experience as german language speaker. She stands out in 2 aspects: the blend of structured learning and what happens in daily live and by knowing when to interrupt a flow. Sometimes continuing is more important than correcting. After 2 years I manage perfectly well when visiting Germany.
Most of all: she is great fun to be with.
