About Alex
Hi!
I am a TEFL certified English (as a foreign language) teacher, and I teach full-time. I have given over 6000 hours of English lessons to students of many different nationalities. Currently, I am devoting a lot of time to helping Chinese students pass their IELTS speaking exams with a high score.
I've worked in language schools in Poland and also for companies providing business English lessons to corporate clients. I speak Polish fluently, so I also know very well how it feels to be a language learner.

Hi!
I am a TEFL certified English (as a foreign language) teacher, and I teach full-time. I have given over 6000 hours of English lessons to students of many different nationalities. Currently, I am devoting a lot of time to helping Chinese students pass their IELTS speaking exams with a high score.
I've worked in language schools in Poland and also for companies providing business English lessons to corporate clients. I speak Polish fluently, so I also know very well how it feels to be a language learner.
As for general English lessons, we will focus largely on speaking and listening, as from experience, I have learned that this is the most effective way to fluency in your target language. I also prioritise pronunciation (and like teaching British accents), as I believe it is one of the most important tools in feeling confident with your speech.
Lessons involve lots of "native-style" idioms, phrasal verbs, and other expressions, which are taught in such a way, that you will be able to use them naturally so that they sound good and you remember them. For lower-level learners, I always focus on teaching the most important words and phrases first, so that you learn words you will actually be able to use and see results immediately. Conversational lessons will cover lots of different topics so that you feel confident talking about normal any subject. You will talk more than me :)
Lessons are for adults (I don't have any experience teaching children).
