About Lauren
I really enjoy connecting with students from different backgrounds and creating a more diverse and unique learning environment. I have been tutoring in various subjects for a couple years now and enjoy seeing progress of the students I aid. One of my favorite hobbies outside of tutoring and my FT Job is barrel racing my two horses, Dakota and Zoro!!
I attended BGSU for 4 years as an education major, I am a horseback riding coach in my free time, and I served as the Ohio FCCLA State Secretary for 2 years prior to graduation. I am also currently in school to obtain another degree in Veterinary Technology.

I like to do an ice breaker activity to introduce myself and find ways to connect with the student off the bat. I then like to touch base about where they are at in the material and what they think they are struggling with the most, so I can better understand their personalized needs.
