About Rose

I work in a practical, physical approach to acting.

I only suggest techniques and strategies that work for the student. If it doesn't work, we pivot to something that does.

There is no one-size-fits-all toolkit for all actors. Every actor needs to find what works for them. I am ready to support that.

Liberating the actor's mind and body to be free to play!

When I started independently producing, I was working with primarily actors with very little formal training, and were acting for fun, not as a serious career.

After several shows, I built valuable skills and knowledges from training actors who with no previous formal training, and watching them give amazing performances.

About the lesson

My policy is come as you are.

If a student has no particular areas they struggle with and want to improve in,

I will teach using my 3-step framework:

1. Foundations: Energizing yourself to prepare, to rehearse, and to perform.

2. Movement & Physicality: Embody your Character's Presence (lessons on physical alignment)

3. Text Work: How to Generate Better Actions (acting is doing.)

LOTS of actors with NO experience.

And many actors with existing experience, but are still struggling with their confidence and their character transformations.

1:1 Custom, individualized coaching (nights & weekends)

Tailoring the work with strategies and techniques for exactly what you need help with.

Great if you need to prep for an upcoming audition. Or want to prepare yourself to go out and get auditions.

$40/Hour (2 hours at a time, minimum.)
