About Devon
Coaching
Devon Caraway is an acting based in New York City. She works one-on-one with performers at all levels, providing a supportive atmosphere in which students can learn and grow.
As a working actor, Devon understands what it takes to give an outstanding audition. Whether you're auditioning for college or grad school, Broadway or TV, Devon can help you gain the confidence you need to walk into the room and book the job.
Devon helps performers discover power, range, inspiration, and agility in their performance of monologues, scenes, and other materials. She teaches a mélange of acting techniques that adapt to each individual’s needs. She specializes in classical text, particularly Shakespeare, and has trained in a variety of voice and speech techniques.
Devon holds an M.F.A from Brown/Trinity Rep and B.F.A from NYU, Tisch School of the Arts. As a teaching assistant, Devon taught Intro to Acting and Directing while at Brown. She currently teaches an annual scene study class at The Ridgefield Theatre Barn in Connecticut.
