About Mikael

I have over 15 years experience as a working actor, comedian, improviser and story-teller in the DC/Baltimore Metro area.

It was a life-long dream to become an actor and comedian when I took my first class in 2002. Since then, I have relished the opportunity to teach and coach students in order to assist in helping them realize their own dreams and goals.

I trained with the following schools:

Maryland Ensemble Theater School (Acting and Improv)

Woolly Mammoth Theater Classes (Comedy 101, Comedy 102, Exploding the Text)

Theater Lab (Creating the One-Person Show)

Story District (Bootcamp Story Telling)

Washington Improv Theater

Comedy Sportz

Annoyance Theater

About the lesson

We will first assess your goals and any possible upcoming projects or auditions, and then prioritize from there.

The lessons will involve monologue work, interpreting and choosing an appropriate monologue for auditions and practicing diffferent genre of monologues.

From there there will be scripted homework and other assignments that the student will be able to take home and practice on a daily basis.
