About Clayton

I have been on stage since the age of 13. I won a WATCH Award (Washington Area Theater Community Awards) for best supporting actor in Va., Md., & D.C.

I have performed on stage at the Kennedy Center with Rudolph Nuyerev. I have travelled with the cast of "Hello Dolly" starring Carol Channing.

I am now retired from acting and want to give back some of the joy I have gotten from performing.

About the lesson

improv
scene work
character development
Memorization skills

I also incorporate warm-up exercises to loosen the body and voice, followed by group exercises to build ensemble work and listening skills. Each session includes guided scene work where students practice dialogue, blocking, and emotional expression, with individualized feedback to strengthen character choices. We explore improvisation games to enhance spontaneity and creativity, and I provide techniques for memorization and line retention. Lessons conclude with reflection and goal-setting to track progress and tailor future sessions to each student's needs.

I will be glad to talk about the price. The system would not allow me a lower cost.
