About Andi

I grew up in a very small town, where my opportunities in this industry were very limited. I was determined to become a professional actress. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre, and have worked/lived in Boston, Miami, and New York City. I have an extensive resume that includes Theatre, TV, and Film. I truly love the craft of acting, and believe that by practicing this art form one can gain emotional insight, confidence, and a greater empathy for others. I also wish to help others who come from a similar background as mine, and aren't given many opportunities to learn the performing arts. While my main focus is acting for kids, I work with all ages!

My first professional job out of college was for a touring children's theatre company. We would perform classic plays for children all over the country and would lead acting workshops after the performances. Through this, I discovered how much I loved teaching and helping others express themselves through this craft.

About the lesson

I will assign you a monologue and a scene from a play or tv/film. We will go step-by-step, starting from character building and diving into understanding the scene. I will teach you techniques that will deepen your connection to your characters, as well as technical acting skills. We will have fun!!

I have worked with students at all skill levels ranging from age 4-80!
