My daughter has worked with Ava for the past year and a half and she is an amazing acting coach! She helped her find monologues that she could shine with and then coached her through bringing out a range of emotions in the pieces. It ended up with her winning first place in both a state and international competition! I truly believe she couldn’t have done it without Ava’s attention to technique and ability to convey this to her. She is now helping her prep for college auditions and has also been invaluable in this regard. Along with being an excellent teacher, she has been flexible in terms of finding times to meet and always responsive to last minute schedule changes that the college audition process has thrown my daughter’s way. Ava is amazing! I have been working with her for about a year now. She helped me navigate the college audition process when I was completely lost. Because of her, I was able to figure out where I wanted to apply, stay on top of deadlines, and perfect multiple monologues for pre-screens and auditions. She is such a great teacher! I've really learned how to actually work through a monologue step-by-step and what to look for in that process. I've learned how to name beats, but also quantify my own journey as a character and live through my real self to be as authentic as possible. Beyond that, the real connection that Ava had with her students makes it so easy and relaxed to work with her, nothing ever feels intimidating. I highly recommend her!
